On the up side, we can still enjoy her writing with her Lord John Grey books, mysteries featuring one of the minor characters from the Outlander series, the aforementioned Grey. Lord-John Diana Gabaldon's book titled “Lord John and the Hand of Devils”contains three novellas of increasing lengths. Each of these tales has at least some nominal paranormal frame of reference. I do like Lord John, and I think he works well in novella format.
